REPORTING
I have found a love for reporting and storytelling while in college. The process of reporting involves doing research, getting interviews and recording video. Reporting requires communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to be unbiased in telling a story.
OU Nightly is an award winning student-run newscast at OU. Through OU Nightly I have expanded my skills as an anchor, reporter and producer.
I interned with News 12 in Sherman, during 2 winter breaks. During my internship I shadowed different reporters and did my own day turn stories. During each 4 week internship I was able to get a look into life in a real newsroom.
